How Evaporative Cooling Works
The incoming hot air is drawn through wet pads using a fan blower. As water evaporates from the pads, it takes heat from the air with it, resulting in up to 30 degrees cooler air from the cooler. See chart below to determine how cool the air will be from the cooler, based on current outdoor temperature and humidity levels.
